We have measurements of intelligence like IQ and emotional intelligence like EQ. Another simple measure is our CQ or Curiosity Quotient. This is the ratio of “questions asked” to “statements made.” The higher the number of questions to statements, the higher your curiosity quotient.
Check-in with yourself after a meeting and estimate the ratio of questions you asked in the meeting. Consider the ratio of questions asked by the rest of your team. The goal is to maximize your CQ. You can do that by curating a curious mindset and encouraging questioning by others.
