63. Pick Who You Work With and Who You Work For

Look around for people you like and respect, people others look up to, others who can challenge you, or leaders who have something to teach you. Identify those people and find ways to work for them or work with them. They will rub off on you. You can’t help but be a better person when you are around great people. If you have ever played a sport, you probably found that your level of play was better when you were around people who were stronger players than you.

Charles Caleb Colton said, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Surround yourself with people you want to flatter by emulating him or her.

Whom can I work with or work for who will help me grow?
